We have an exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At SV Cuisine we are currently have 4 Dry Goods Operative positionsto join our team based in Wednesbury. The successful candidate will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a competitive hourly rate of £8.44 per hour.About the role:As our Dry Goods Operative you will ensure the continuous flow of materials to the business.Working hours: Sunday - Thursday 6:00am - 14:00pm and Tuesday - Saturday - 6:00am - 14:00pmKey responsibilities of our Dry Goods Operative:- Maintain continuous supply of goods to production areas- Record by scan- Check that all sauces and packaging are of the highest standard of hygiene- Please note that although you will be based in the dry goods team you may be required from time to time to work in other areas on different shifts depending on the needs of the business- Manual handling / lifting (Weight limits outlined in risk assessment)- Keep all areas clear and clean up to PIU standard at all times- Completion of stock documentation / paperwork and checking of delivery notes- Operating Fork Lift Truck & or pallet trucks (including electric hand pallet truck)- Clears up spillages and contaminated packaging in a timely manner- Recognizes potential issues and feeds back to Manager and team- Selects, collates and moves stock between Areas promptly and accurately- Understands label and tray coding formats, reels and pallet quantities- Completes main and promo label intake checks including paperwork and allocating stock to all areas- Identifies delivery shortages and quality issues at product intake and communicates this to the appropriate internal staff- Actively looks to improve systems and performance of the departmentWhat we’re looking for in our Dry Goods Operative:- Understands written and spoken English to follow instructions correctly- Good numerical skills- Good communication skills- Counterbalance or Electric / Hand Pallet truck license (Valid RTITB / ITTSAR) license) (desirable not essential as training can be provided)- Integrate with your colleagues- Be a team player- Able to work unsupervisedIf you would like to join our team as our Dry Goods Operative then please click apply’ today - don’t miss out, we’d love to hear from you!
