About Our ClientOur client have been successfully providing Warehouse and Distribution services to businesses throughout the UK for over 30+ years. They are now looking for a Class1 (C+E) driver. Job DescriptionAs part of the transport team you will be delivering nationwide with an average of 2 drops a day. It is clean work, with all deliveries on pallets. Modern trucks and you will be allocated your own truck to you. On average 2 nights out, with the choice of weekendwork if wanted. This is a temp to perm 18 week contract.The successful applicant will be required to:Have a valid class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 pointsHave a DQC (CPC)Have a digital drivers cardEnsure correct and thorough completion of paperworkObserve and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygieneMaintain a good working knowledge of drivers hours regulationsEffectively manage own working time in line with the working time directiveAdhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all timesEnsure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedureBe Responsible for your unit and trailer.Drive in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring adherence to parking, speed and road signageHave a flexible approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approachAny other duties as reasonably requiredWhat is on offer£13ph at 50 hours with weekend overtime£45 per week bonus Pension Scheme What nextThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone in the Wednesbury or surrounding area to join a personable and growing business with plenty of opportunities and a great team.
