Job Description

Shift: Mon - Friday I’ m currently recruiting for a Bandsaw Setter Operator to work with a global manufacturer of safety critical components based in Wednesbury. As Bandsaw Operator you will be responsible for the following:Duties:

  • Read and interpret work orders and process sheets to determine requirements
  • Set-up, adjust and operate a bandsaw to the sizes and lengths to cut the material to specified requirements.
  • Notify management of any errors
  • Perform cleaning and preventative maintenance on machinery and other machinery tools.
  • Other duties required of you
    • The successful candidate for the Bandsaw Setter Operators position will have the following experience:
  • 3 to 5 years experience setting & operating Bandsaws (Essential)
  • Experience working with metals (Essential)
  • Basic problem solving and machine maintenance (Essential)
  • Competent in using hand-held measuring equipment (Essential)
