Whether you preferfull-time or part-time hours, this role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the academic success of our students in the comfort of their own homes.*Key Responsibilities:** Provide exceptional one-on-one tutoring sessions to students at the GCSE level, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the subject matter.* Develop customised lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the national curriculum and cater to the unique learning needs of each student.* Assess and regularly monitor the progress of your students, adjusting your teaching methods to maximise their learning outcomes.* Create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students to excel.* Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians to provide feedback on student progress and address any concerns.* Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student performance.*Qualifications:** Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.* Previous experience as a Home Tutor, particularly at the GCSE level, is highly desirable.* Strong knowledge and expertise in GCSE-level Maths and English, with the ability to teach other subjects being a plus.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.* The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning needs of each student.*Working Hours:*The working hours for this position are flexible and can be tailored to your availability. Whether youre seeking full-time or part-time work, we can accommodate your schedule. The role includes 1 to 2 hours of planning time per student, depending on thelength of tutoring sessions.
