Teaching Assistant- Watford -Education and Training-Aylesbury- Education and TrainingAre you a Teaching Assistant or Nursery Practitioner looking for a more rewarding roleMaybe youre a care worker or family member with experience of supporting people with special educational/medical needs or physical disabilitiesThis job might be for you!Academics Ltd are currently working with fantastic SEN schools across Hertfordshire that provide for children between that have been diagnosed with wide ranging educational and social needs. The schools endeavour to ensure children reach their full potential,through high standards of teaching and learning.Your role would be to work alongside the class teacher and other support staff, helping them to meet the differing needs of the children in the classroom. A flexible approach to the role is vital as you will need to support the classroom as a whole, as wellas providing support to students individually when needed.You will need good interpersonal skills as you will be the first point of call for children in your care and be expected to liaise with teaching staff and parents/guardians to ensure the individual needs of the pupils are being met.Benefits:* Day-to-Day/ Short-Term/ Ongoing contracts available* Long-term work, with the opportunity to go permanent* Working in a challenging, but rewarding environment* Your own personal consultant to prioritise your needs* £85 - £90 daily rateRole Requirements:* Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential* A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.* Ability to work as part of team, alongside teaching and support staff* Willing to support a pupil with personal care where necessary.* Able to use their initiative to support learning.* Passion to support children and young people with special educational needsWhat youll need:* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to get one.* Eligibility to work in the UK.* Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification, at level 2 or above.If you are passionate about SEN or want to kick-start your career as a SEND Learning Support Assistant, apply or send your CV to be considered for this role.Teaching Assistant- Education and Training- WatfordRequired skills
