Job Description

Following a period of growth and acquisition my client is seeking to hire a Group Head of Tax for the first time. This is an exciting role where you will be in-charge of driving and setting up processes for a PE Backed business.Job SummaryManger all group taxes and ensure efficient administration, legal compliance, and auditability of records. Design and change processes, where necessary. Support this business with questions related to taxation within current operations or acquisitions.Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day responsibility for effective tax management;
  • Timely submission of the groups tax returns, including direct and indirect taxes;
  • Develop and implement a group tax strategy;
  • Support the business regarding any questions regarding taxation;
  • Review possible acquisitions for tax issues;
  • Ensure all tax account is correctly processed;
  • Overseeing and organising tax audits
  • Develop, manage and maintain tax and tax accounting policies and procedures
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with HMRC and tax advisors;
