Job Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Consultant to join our UK team, you’ll be part of the Customer Experience Department, working alongside UI design, Optimisation and Consulting as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.As a Senior UXer, specialising in eCommerce, you will be expected to lead UX project deliverables, across all phases of the design process, including business requirements workshops, research, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing and CRO.Taking the initiative in ensuring the business needs of our client are fully understood and met by the proposed solution. This is a practical role requiring someone of excellent technical ability looking to make their mark in a diverse and expanding team.What you’ll do:

  • Design and conduct product definition and UX requirements workshops
  • Present and playback experience maps, wireframes, user flows and designs - both to working groups and C-Suite.
  • Produce journey maps, personas, scenarios, process flows, information architecture diagrams and other artefacts required to develop and evolve product definition and user experience design.
  • Experience in e-commerce or complex journeys ie financial or insurance.
  • Communicate, defend, and build consensus around the desired product strategy and suggested wireframes
  • Drive the CRO strategy for our clients and liaise internally with our data team to ensure smooth delivery and analysis of initiatives
  • Design and lead research projects to influence product roadmap and distil CRO initiatives into a strategic digital roadmap
  • Scope and manage the delivery of a variety of both qualitative and quantitative research
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders, fellow designers, program managers, and developers
  • Collaborate with Account Leads, Head of UX, Head of CX and clients as a part of the creative process, understanding business drivers and provide UX leadership to clients and internal teams.

  • Extensive experience as a senior UX Designer, ideally in an agency
  • Experienced in conversion led UX / CRO
  • Designing and leading workshops
  • Ability to lead projects
  • Being able to bring insights to life through wireframes and positively communicate rational and user flow when challenged
  • Have excellent presentation and client communication skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Client focused, flexible, and able to work at client locations
  • Solid information, interaction, and experience design skills
  • Breadth of experience across sectors / audiences
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and the ability to think about commercially sound solutions
  • Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals and business requirements that shape current and future developments
