Job Description

Senior Environmental Health & Safety Consultant£40,000 - £45,000 + BenefitsHertfordshire (Remote Based)Our client is one of the UKs most successful and fastest growing Environmental Consultancies who are globally recognised and provide a wide range of services in the environmental, health and safety and engineering sectors. Established almost 30 years ago, they work with organisations across the world, providing a complete range of consultancy services, enabling them to succeed and thrive in a competitive marketplace.Due to continued growth, our client is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Senior Environmental Health & Safety Compliance Consultant to join their EHS Compliance team to lead, support and deliver EHS Due Diligence and Compliance Support projects across a variety of sectors.Other duties include:

  • Supporting in delivering project proposals and tenders
  • Seeking out out new business opportunities associated with changing policy and legislation
  • Due Duligence reporting
  • Developing EHS management systems
  • Carrying out auditing of client premises
  • Developing and delivery of training
    • What are we looking for
  • Recognised EHS qualification (NEBOSH, IEMA, IOSH)
  • Recognised auditing qualification
  • Minimum of 4 years experience working within the EHS Compliance sector
  • Proven experience in client management and project delivery
  • Experience of EHS Due Diligence in support of transactions
  • Strong working knowledge with current guidance and best practice
  • Excellent communicator with an ability to interact with people at different levels
  • Excellent presentation and client facing skills
  • Good people management skills
  • A can can-do attitude with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • A full UK driving license
