Secondary Learning SupportWatford, HertfordshireSeptember 22Mainstream secondary schoolThe role & responsibilities include :support for the teaching and learning of students who are under the instruction of the class teacher, to maximise their participation and achievement.support with classroom management and with the supervision of students, while maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment.work with students, providing constancy and consistency, and supporting them in developing the interpersonal skillsestablish and maintain good relationships with all students, parents/carers, colleagues and other professionals.supervise and provide support to individuals and groups of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring their safety and access to learning activities, and encouraging them to become independent learners within their own ability.The school is a vibrant and diverse learning communitystaff and students bring a wonderful cultural and linguistic diversity to the classrooms, leading to energetic debate and imaginative thinkingpassionate teachingAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role as well as the Right to Work in the UK.
