Are you passionate about using data to drive improvement We have an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent technical skills to join our MIS team.We are seeking an experienced MIS Report Writer who develop reports using applications such as SQL, Microsoft Reporting Services and/or Power BI to create a College Reporting System that meet users needs.You will be joining the Management and Information Services Team, to provide crucial performance data to support the College to achieve its strategic priorities. You will build tools which will automate reporting and display data in a user friendly and meaningful way.You will be a strong communicator and able to work pro-actively to ensure that reporting is highly accurate, credible and meets the needs of the users. In addition, you will support the team providing tailored training on our reporting systems to upskill users across College.Our reporting is delivered using SQL and SSRS, integrating and combining data where appropriate to support curriculum and cross-college teams in monitoring, analysing and evaluating performance through effective use of data. It essential that you have significant experience in using SQL and SSRS to enable you to undertake this role successfully.Experience of working with the following College applications would also be beneficial; One Advanced products (e.g. ProSolution, ProMonitor, ProAchieve), knowledge of funding/ILR specification is desirable, but training will be provided.The role is full time and based at our Watford Campus.The closing date for applications is Sunday 11 April 2021.The successful candidate will join the Management and Information Services team.To apply for this role, please either send us your CV or visit the West Herts College website - Current Vacancies section and complete an online application from.
