Job Description

A worldwide pharmaceutical company are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Site Maintenance Engineer to maintain, calibrate, repair, and continual development of all equipment and plant services within the mechanical and electrical scope of the Site Engineering Department with due regard to all relevant regulations, guidelines and practices.Maintenance engineers will be required to work to GMP and GxP standards at all times.Please note the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer will be required to work a rotating shift pattern of 4 on 4 off days (7am - 7pm) and nights (7pm -7am) covering 365 days of the year.This outstanding company are continuously growing due to production records being achieved annually, this allows further plans to extend the Site Engineering department.Multi-Skilled Site Maintenance Engineer Requirements:

  • Previous experience of maintaining pharmaceutical building services/Data centre or FMCG environment.
  • Experience working on HVAC, BMS, Steam systems, Automation and Control Systems and Water Systems would be highly advantageous
  • Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance skill-set
  • Formal Qualification for statutory requirements such as B&P,L8 and 17th ED.
  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline
    • Multi-Skilled Site Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Support the shift lead to determine the correct course of action during reactive and planned maintenance activities
  • Technical support for the manufacturing team on site to ensure the correct decisions are made to reduce any risk to manufacturing activities
  • Carry out routine maintenance work on all relevant systems supplying the manufacturing areas with a right first time approach.
  • Maintain all regulatory and non-regulatory documentary records, including Training Folders, Equipment Logbooks, Calibration Records within CMX and Mainsaver.
  • Ensuring work orders have valuable detail for asset history following the functional failure guidelines
  • Ensure all tools, materials and spare parts are ordered/available for the successful planning of all assigned works
  • Develop and Maintain the Statutory/Mandatory maintenance plans to ensure compliance on all systems within their area of influence
