Job Description

Kitchen Extract Technician Watford£25,000-£33,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)One of our great clients who is dedicated to building compliance specialising in Air and Water Hygiene are now seeking fresh talent to join its ranks of industry experts.They are seeking hard working and hand-on individuals who are looking to begin a long and successful career inside a market leading company. Our client was the first company to offer services in air and water hygiene treatment solutions and have been growingover the past 40 years due to the high-quality work they deliver.This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to gain a fresh position as a Kitchen Extract Cleaner joining a brilliant supplier of inspection, cleaning, and remediation work across the UK.Tasks & Duties of a Kitchen Extract Technician:

  • Ventilation inspections and testing.
  • Ductwork modifications and installing access panels.
  • Completing fire damper tests and inspections.
  • Air quality monitoring and reports.
  • AHU inspections and maintenance.
  • Canopy and grease trap cleans.
  • Kitchen extract grease readings and filter cleans.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Experience & Skills of a Kitchen Extract Technician:
  • A full UK driving license is essential for the position.
  • Must be able to pass an DBS check.
  • Ideally be trained in confined spaces with any other training being beneficial.
  • You will have excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • You must be willing to travel and have a desire to develop.
Normal working hours with the role will be 8.00am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 4.00pm on Fridays, some out of hours work will be required often in premises that cant close in the day.
