Junior Administrator who is keen to learn with some knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) with excellent organisational, time-management and written and verbal communication skills is required to join our teamat Cellular Pathology Services based in West Watford, Hertfordshire.NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - FULL TRAINING PROVIDEDWe have 3 positions available and will consider candidates with little or no experience but with a desire to learn the different aspects of their role. Cellular Pathology Services is dedicated to advancing and training you in your career within our scaling organisation.This opportunity would suit a someone with desire to learn client services, administration, digital pathology scanning & accounts as well as assisting in basic laboratory tasks, recording patient data, typing reports, filing, and posting. As the Junior Administratoryou will work alongside our team, assisting in all areas and receive extensive training. On the Job Training and Support for Training courses are available.As a successful candidate you must be able to learn new skills, be proactive, self-motivated, have a "can-do" attitude, have excellent telephone manners and be computer literate along with accurate keyboard skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and goodattention to detail.ABOUT USCellular Pathology Services is a private medical laboratory accredited by UKAS ISO 15189:2012 along with an office team support, which provides quality driven laboratory services to the independent and NHS sectors. Our facility is located in west Watfordwithin modern premises.Our staff are friendly and hard working.   • Typing, scanning and uploading clinical reports
  • Faxing / Filing / Posting
  • Inputting daily charge codes and dealing with daily manifests
  • Handling all telephone, fax, postal and email enquires
  • Using Microsoft Office Suite and other software
  • Participate in stock taking
  • Undertake tasks in both "Accounts Receivable" and "Accounts Payable"
  • Liaise with Insurance companies
  • Monitor invoice payments and to issue reminders
  • Receive specimens from the couriers and book them into the pathology computer system with complete accurate data entry
  • Assist medical and scientific staff in laboratory duties
  • Receive and unload stock
  • Participate in stock taking
  • Digital scanning of slides
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • You must be able to learn new skills, be proactive and self-motivated
  • You will need a polite and professional telephone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You will need to be computer literate along with accurate keyboard skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • You will have a high attention to detail with good organisational skills and time-management skills
  • You need to be a self-starter who has a flexible approach to the required hours of work and thrives under pressure
  • You will need your own transport as the site is not accessible by public transport
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK
