My client are looking for a Head of Finance, a highly successful company within the Retail/ Consumer sector who supply a quality range of goods to trusted partners, both domestic and International.This exciting new position will report directly into the CFO and will gain day to day exposure to the senior management and Board within each of the Groups divisions providing strategic insight to maximise future opportunities and reducing risk.As Head of Finance you will gain a clear operational understanding of each of the divisions activities and trading position whilst providing advice, ideas and a consolidated overview to the Board to assist in decision making and investment and on-going commercial activities.Accountabilities and duties include: Management and development of a small team, business partnering to the divisional heads including investment appraisal and due diligence. Production of consolidated management and financial reports along with commentary, P&L review for the divisions and monthly management reporting.Cashflow management, assisting with year-end statutory audit, setting and maintaining KPIs, analysis of company performance and ongoing development of reporting and processes.This role is perfectly suited to a qualified Finance professional, ACA, CIMA or ACCA with circa 6 to 10 years years post qualified experience looking for a senior finance role where they can truly shape future decisions within a fast-moving and investing business.The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a partner to board level, sound leadership skills gained within fast moving business and drive to build strong working relationships with the stakeholders both internally and external.
