Graduate Geotechnical EngineerReference: BY1206Location: WatfordSalary: £22,000 - £26,000No experience required!Are you a recent university graduate seeking an entry level role in an environmental discipline Did you study geology, geography, environmental science or another relevant subject Are you looking to apply your academic knowledge This is the perfect opportunityfor you! These industry leading geotechnical contractors based near Watford are seeking to expand their team. Youll have the chance to work on a huge variety of Ground Investigation and contaminated land projects in the South East; working with a team ofspecialist who will help kickstart your career.The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:

The Graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will:
  • Be working on a range of projects, including but not limited to large-scale water monitoring projects.
  • Be taking soil and water samples.
  • Be core logging and taking bore hole samples.
  • Be monitoring materials and assisting the wider team where required.
  • Report writing.
  • Supervising site investigations.
To be considered for the Graduate Geotechnical Engineer role you must:
  • Have a degree in geology, or a related subject (environmental science, physical geography, geo-environmental engineering, earth science, palaeontology). (ESSENTIAL).
  • Have a keen interest in outdoor, hands-on work.
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Have a full and clean UK driving licence (ESSENTIAL).
  • Have a full right to work in the UK. (ESSENTIAL).
  • Live within commutable distance to Watford and the surrounding area. (ESSENTIAL).
