Finance ManagerWatford - with parking onsite. Office based£50-60k depending on experience plus benefits incl healthcareOur client is a well-established business based near Watford Junction station. Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a new role This role would suit someone either QBE, or Part Qualified. If you have experience in CIS then this would be beneficial.You will be responsible for the overall responsibility of the day to day financial operations of the company.Your role as Finance Manager:Main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:• Production of monthly management accounts and reports, explaining variances and providing analysis where required.• Preparation of the quarterly management accounts, P & L and balance sheet required for the submissions to HSBC bank, including cashflow in line with RLS loan requirements.• Management, development, mentoring and support of members of the finance team• Analysis and reconciliation of P&L and Balance Sheet• Management of debtors and creditors• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register• Preparation and submission of VAT returns and reconciliations• Preparation of monthly payroll• CIS monthly returns• P11D submissions• Management of Prepayments and Accruals• Cash Flow, forecasting, variance analysis and budgeting• Liaison with outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments and other financial needs as necessary• Tracking of the Companys financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement• Seeking out methods for minimizing financial risk to the Company• Presentation of financial reports to Board members and other stakeholders in formal meetings• Keeping up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes• Introduction and maintenance of financial policies and procedures for the Company• Understanding of and adherence to financial regulations and legislation.Qualifications/Skills Required• Payroll experience• CIS monthly returns to HMRC• Proficiency with Quickbooks accounting software• Proficiency with Excel to an advanced level• Ability to prepare management accounts• Commercial and business acumen• Experience of reporting at Board level• Leadership skills and employee management experience• Understanding of data privacy standards• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal• Good understanding of business principles and practices• Excellent attention to detail, organisational, planning, research, analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving• Integrity and honestyThis is a great all round role for someone with relevant experience.
