Job Description

Do you have experience of designing for fashion retail brands If so, wed love to hear from you! Digital Designer Signet Jewellers Watford - Maternity Cover (until December 2022)Hybid Working - 2 days in the office, 3 working from homeAre you a digital native with experience of After Effects and mobile-first web asset designHere at Signet Jewelers, owners of luxury UK retail jewellery brands Ernest Jones and H.Samuel, we have a wonderful opportunity to join our in-house creative team. As a Digital Designer you will be designing digital assets, animated social media content,web pages, banners and e-mail campaigns for our H.Samuel and Ernest Jones brands. You will play a pivotal role in creating an engaging digital footprint that not only our customers love, but one which aligns with brand guidelines whilst also meeting usabilityand website standards.A collaborative approach will be essential as youll work In a fast-paced commercial environment operating in close connection with our wider marketing and digital team.Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Designing, producing and managing online, mobile-first creative content
  • Interpreting briefs for each project, conceptualising visuals, presenting design ideas to relevant stakeholders and amending designs after feedback.
  • Creating digital assets (static, video and HTML) for a variety of platforms (social, display advertising, eCommerce, websites, mobile, apps, etc) and editing content.
  • Ensuring consistency of designs across platforms
About YouSuitable applicants will be experienced as follows:
  • A digital native with a fluent understanding of digital channels and responsive mobile-first design.
  • Proven digital design ability with a track record of great, culturally relevant ideas ideally within fashion retail
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier video editing, XD and After Effects Advanced is essential
  • Proven ability to and understanding of working within strict brand graphic guidelines
  • High level of attention to detail
