Job Description

This global retailer is a well-known household name - a popular department store amongst the UK population and further afield! They are based in Watford, and a short walk from the station.This corporate financial auditor reports into the manager, and works alongside 7 other team members. The team are sociable, outgoing, and love to work together and be collaborative!The audit work consists of financial audit, SOX controls, and operational audit. You will communicate with a range of internal departments, forging relationships with senior stakeholders on a daily basis.The progression route plan is to move into the business in a finance or operational role after 12 to 18 months so this is a great role to learn about the business before rotating and developing further.Travel is a minimum of 10% and a max of 40% - as such you should be comfortable travelling across the UK, EU and an annual trip to the US!This role is geared for someone who has recently completed their ACA/ACCA. External audit or risk assurance backgrounds from practice are required.
