Job Description

Pivotal Construction services are currently seeking various gangs of Civil Engineers for work in the Watford area. Please Call Pivotal on if you meet the requirements below.This position is offered on a sub-contract or temp to perm basis for the right workers.Job role: Seeking multiple experienced civil engineers within the fibre industry for highway work on behalf of BT.Daily duties:

  • Excavating & repairing blockages on the BT network
  • Test, Rod & roping
  • Duct renewals / overlays
  • There are also opportunities to progress onto the subduct and cable installing / fibre splicing with training provided for the right candidates.
  • Although the work is initially fibre related the business also works within other areas in utilities and groundworks providing opportunities to train within these areas.
    • The ideal candidate should have:
  • Driving licence with BE (towing)
  • Preferred / Beneficial
  • NRSWA
  • 3 Day First Aid
  • NOPs registered
  • BT Accreditations
  • Streetworks ticket
  • Excavation experience (hand dig or machine)
    • Job details:
  • Start date: Immediate
  • Duration: Ongoing / temp - perm
  • Rate: £100 a blockage (Minimum 3 a day). Wages will be increased with career progression and training.
  • Hours: 8am - 5pm (with 1hr lunch)
  • Probation: 3 Month probation period (client may take on candidates earlier if they are the right fit)
