Job Description

Asbestos Analyst£29,000 - £35,000 + BenefitsWatford, HertfordshireThis is a fantastic opportunity for an Asbestos Analyst to join a market-leading multi-discipline consultancy. This UKAS accredited company specializes in Legionella and Fire Risk Assessments, as well as Asbestos Management Consultancy and are known forbeing a quality driven consultancy that values both staff and client satisfaction.Due to the acquisition of a large local contract based in Watford, our client are looking to employ a BOHS P403 & P404 qualified Asbestos Analyst to join their team. As an Asbestos Analyst, you will be required to carry out a range of air testing from leaktests to 4 stage clearance/issue of reoccupation, producing high quality reports, liaising with clients, tenants and the management team whilst building and maintaining strong client relationships.In return you can expect to receive a competitive starting salary between £29,000 - £35,000 (depenant on experience), along with an attractive benefits package which includes a company van, fuel card, excellent overtime rates and options, 23 days holiday+ bank holidays, company pension scheme, further training and career development opportunities, company bonus scheme and a guaranteed work-life balance as all work will be locally based!The successful Asbestos Analyst will possess:

  • BOHS P403 + P404/RSPH3 certification with a minimum of two years (post qualification) field experience
  • Experienced in air monitoring, fibre counting and 4 stage clearances
  • Full UK driving license with a flexible approach to travel
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and HSG248 The analyst guide in relation to asbestos
  • Will have excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Ability to work under their own initiative and as part of a team
