Job Description

IN2 Consult - Accounting Manager IFRS 15 - Watford - £70,000 to £80,000 plus 20% bonus - 2 days a week office based - Full-time, Permanent - Big 4 Audit professional either 1st step into industry or 2nd move into industry.IN2 Consult is supporting our high growth, PE Backed Technology client based near to Watford with the recruitment of an Accounting Manager IFRS 15. This client is looking for an Audit Manager/ Senior Audit Manager from a Big 4 Audit background to make theirfirst move into industry. The successful candidate must have technical knowledge around IFRS 15 Revenue Recognition.Key Responsibilities for this Accounting Manager IFRS 15:

  • Serve as the Revenue Recognitions team subject matter expert on revenueaccountingand collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Sales, Marketing, legal, deal desk and business operations.
  • Review revenue related contracts for compliance with the businesses revenue recognition policy,IFRS15and determine appropriate treatment
  • Prepare Deal summaries for each Deal review
  • Business Partner with board level stakeholders to ensure accurate compliance and use ofIFRS15
  • Providing a technical insight intoIFRS15to key stakeholders
  • Maintain and update internal controls documentation for revenue recognition and support audits of internal controls
  • Thorough understanding ofIFRS15implications for revenue recognition, preferred
  • Work closely with the Companys internal and external auditors as required to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored and prepare schedules and reports in support of annual audit
  • Work closely with team to document and write ad hoc policy as well as updates to current policy.
  • Supporting the business through the IPO process for being listed on a US Stock Exchange, supporting with the update of internal controls in line with the change of UK to US based reporting standards.
  • Support SSP studies
Key experience required for this Accounting Manager IFRS 15 vacancy:
  • ACA/ CPA/ CA or ACCA qualified
  • Big 4 Audit experience
  • Ideally Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager looking for their 1st time industry move
  • Technical accounting knowledge around IFRS 15 - Revenue Recognition
  • Ability to showcase examples of good business partnering/ stakeholder management experience
