Account Executive - Medical Communications Salary: £25k to £35k + BenefitsOur client is a medical communications agency with compelling content at its heart. They consistently deliver high level medical education programmes and create high level medical educational content for pharmaceutical and healthcare / Bio Tech companies that connects energetically with the specific target audience.They are one of the world’s most admired pharmaceutical marketing and medical education agency.They currently, actively support 4 of the top 5 pharma companies in the world with a focus on local, EMEA and global accounts.They are seeking to recruit an Account Executive / Programme Executive to join their MedComms Education Programmes team.The ideal Account Executive will have relevant work experience and an interest in the Medical Communications sector, be degree educated within a scientific discipline or equivalent, have good organisational / admin skills, strong communication skills, have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and awareness and knowledge of pharma regulations.The primary purpose of this role is to support the account team on the day to day running of client accounts. This will include responsibilities such as; timing plans, estimates, budget control and assisting the flow of work through the client services department.Account Executive / Programme ExecutiveJob Summary:-- Good understanding of Pharma / Medical communications- Strong planning, organising and monitoring abilities- Advanced analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills- Strong team player and able to use own initiative to achieve company objectives- To assist with the effective management of a variety of high quality scientific communications ensuring the efficient and timely implementation of projects- Assist the Accounts Team in providing high quality account management standards and assistance with client requirements and provide compliance support as required- Keep track of deadlines, develop project timelines, in conjunction with senior members of the project team- Attend client meetings/conferences- Assist more senior team members in development of creative briefs and ensure actions are properly tracked- Ensure the quality check system is followed and completed for all projects, at all stages, by all members of the Accounts team- Establish knowledge of the agency’s business operations- Develop deeper knowledge of budgeting and invoicing process- Continue building knowledge of medical communications- Continue developing understanding of the overall healthcare industry- Provide team support as required, working with a positive & "can-do" attitude- Prepare to contribute to company meetings.- Contribute strategic medical communications input to defined projects- Reviewing projects for scientific accuracy, quality assurance, relevance and key messages- Running both internal and external meetings involving clients, manuscript authors and KTLs- Working across other departments of the Medical Communications Agency to maintain timelines- Liaise between account managers to ensure all client requests are met- Initiate and conduct literature searches in addition to analysing medical research on various topics- Assist the Account Management team with quality control and generating new and original ideas in order to meet client briefs- develop and maintain professional relations with KOLs/Clients and enabled smooth communication flow between the team members- Undertake regular client phone contact, along with prompt and accurate contact reportsRight & Square Recruitment is an employment agency and employment business Required skills
