Sales Engineer- £30,000- £37,000 per annum- CambridgeshireThe business has been manufacturing, supplying and installing high quality special purpose machinery for over four decades.Globally recognised they have built a team of highly experienced Sales Engineers across the business and are looking for someone of the same calibre. They are an advocate of investing in the workforce to produce top engineers with the majority of their employees having been with the company for many years. My client offers interesting technology in a stimulating working environment and is looking for a like-minded person to join a dynamic team of Sales Engineers. This role will be predominantly be office based and the main focus will be to sell the companys products with regard to price and acceptability from both a commercial and technical risk. The company believe in further training and qualifications of their staff and are happy to accommodate this.Job responsibilities include:- Account management of existing customer base- Developing new customers to target for the business products and services- Preparation of quotations, specifications and cost estimates for the sale of capital equipment- Liaising with other departments with regard to customer support, cost estimation and evaluation of technical risk- Delivering presentations and market shows To be considered for the position:- Background in materials science, metallurgy or mechanical engineering- You can be a recent graduate, someone with a little experience or someone that is qualified by experience- Would like to work in a technical sales environment
