Are you a mechanical engineer that enjoys being part of the development, manufacturing, and maintenance of a productAre you experienced in manufacturing environments and enjoy a challengeThen keep on reading as this is not an opportunity to be missed…We currently working with a leading provider of Electron Beam and laser welding systems, creating specialized machines for the Automotive, Aerospace, Nuclear, Defence and Renewable Energy industries.We are looking for a mechanical engineer that can be flexible in their approach to their approach to hand-on mechanical and electrical builds.what will I be doing• support the build and on-going development of a high-profile long-term project.• assisting with and conducting customer demonstrations of the equipment.• document and record data.• Travelling to and from customer sites may be required at times, both in the UK and overseas, to assist installations and on-site testing of equipment.• contribute to the development of the Ebflow system and process.Qualifications and training• Familiar with precision measuring equipment• Able to use machine chop tools, lathe and milling machines included.• Experienced in a manufacturing environment.• TIG or MIG welding experience would be an advantage.• Basic CNC knowledge would be an advantage.
