North Cambridge - Junior Electrical Design Engineer - £25k-£35k - Electro-Mechanical EquipmentPlatform Recruitment have partnered with a special purpose machinery company. As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team. You will be exposed to all aspects of electrical design and buildfor special purpose machines; you will be supported in your work and development while at the same time you will be expected to show excellent initiative and learn quickly.Main Duties:+ Working closely with the Senior Engineers and the electrical team on a variety of projects+ Liaising with others in the design team, other departments, clients and contractors+ Reading and understanding design specifications and electrical schematics+ Preparing and monitoring project schedules+ Designing and detailing systemsExperience required:+ Electrical design experience+ A structured and organised approach to workload+ Understanding of electrical control systems+ A capability in PLC programming would be advantageous, however not essentialSalary:The salary for this permanent role is targeted at circa £25k-£35k, however this may be negotiable depending on relevant experience.If you feel that you have the right experience for this position then please apply with an updated CV, your salary expectations and availability.
