Location: Cambridge (CB25)Duration: PermanentHours: Flexible with core hours between 10am and 4pm (Monday to Friday)Salary: £35,000 plus travel allowanceJob Reference: 34907Polytec are looking for an experienced Customer Support / Service Engineer for our Cambridge based client. This role will involve extensive travel, potentially at short notice, typically of 1-2 weeks duration.Responsibilities:* Field based commissioning and service activities (approximately 25% of the role)* Site visits to new and existing customers to commission new systems, service activities and delivering system training* Provide support to customers and update technical and procedural documentationRequirements:* HNC or higher in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical engineering* Previous experience in international servicing and commissioning activities* Broad technical knowledge and experience* Ability to carry out logical fault diagnosis of electro-mechanical systems* Able and willing to travel worldwide is essential* Good IT skills with an understanding of software applications* You will need to be comfortable working at heightPlease contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
