Job Description

Zenith People are currently recruiting for an internationally recognised company based in WashingtonWe are actively looking for ambitious and hardworking individuals who are comfortable and experienced in warehousing and forklift operation.Job Description & Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a counter-balance FLT
  • Loading and unloading of product
  • Interaction with the touch screens systems
  • Report issues with FLT, and completing daily checks
  • Ensure all standard Operating procedures (SOPs) are followed
  • Ensure all safe working procedures are followed
  • Raise any issues in a timely manner
  • Adherence to all current Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and guidance including company policies
  • Other duties relative to the role.
Candidate Specification:
  • Experience of working in a high-paced warehousing environment.
  • Have a refreshed and/or current Counter-balance FLT license
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own.
  • Able to work on own initiative when necessary
  • Able to work to within tight cycles/deadlines and with minimum supervision
  • Able to work in a safe manner
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and work to standards
Continental Shift PatternContinental shift pattern of days/nights, one week working 60 hrs (5x12 hour shifts, 2 days break in between), the next week only working only 24 hours(2x12 hour shifts) on rotation.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: £37,700.00 per yearLicence/Certification:
  • Fork Lift Licence (required)
