Job Description

THE BUSINESSWestray Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Controller for our client based in the South Tyneside area.We are representing a high volume manufacturer who have put massive investment into supporting their staff through health and wellbeing, career growth and structured team that are always there to provide you with what you need!THE ROLE
  • Management of design changes
  • Maintain Glovia set up for all BOP and BOM parts with correct implementation timing
  • Manage supplier delivery concerns for design change implementation
  • Provide forecasts to suppliers for trial parts
  • Manage end to end supplier issues
  • Ensure trial parts are delivered on time
  • Effectively liaise with suppliers
  • Effectively maintain and use MRP / ERP / material ordering system
  • Maintain Glovia set up for all BOP from Trial to SOP
  • Zero obsolescence on change items
  • Effectively manage & cut off impact to production
THE PERSON
  • Experience within a similar role within the high volume manufacturing industry (Other industries considered)
  • Working knowledge or project planning systems (CIPPS / ANPQP) and MRPII / ERP) systems
  • Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills to meet customer and business needs
  • Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office
  • Educated to a Degree level is desirable but not essential
