About The RoleJob Overview To ensure the profitable, efficient and safe operation of the security contract within The Galleries Shopping Centre. To provide a quality and innovative environment to all members of the team, customers, internal clients and tenants in accordance with companyprocedures.You will be working any 5 out of 7 days, on a permanent full-time, 08:00 to 17:00, 45 hours per week.Main Duties and Responsibilities : *Manage, co-ordinate and lead the security team function inclusive of the Control room optimising the use of the internal and external resources, exercising budgetary control to achieve performance, quality service and the strategic objectives of the client.*The development, implementation and monitoring of service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) including customer satisfaction and the development and use of benchmarking to enable continuous improvement and measurement againstother organisations.*To ensure that a safe and secure working environment is maintained through compliance with all company health and safety policies and proceduresLiaise with OCS internal and external statutory bodies to ensure compliance with OCS and industry regulations with particular emphasis on ISO quality systems and health & safety.*To carry out Tool Box Talks to your staff on a monthly basis and report and record all events on the company Management Information System.*To ensure when utilising outside contractors that all contractor control and health & safety procedures are witnessed and then monitored to ensure procedures are maintained.*To review and update Assignment Instructions / safe systems of work records, Risk assessments, method statements and Business Continuity Plans.Qualifications and Experience* Experience of Major incident planning, training and management of events incidents* Successful track record in developing a "customer focused" service culture* Good IT skills* Capable of innovative decision making and idea development* Understand budgets and basic accounts* SIA Licensed Manned Guarding/Door Supervisor* Evidence of "hands-on" operational experience and a track record of successful client relationship management* Highly literate and numerate* Evidence of HR management skills, particularly in relation to organisational changeDesirable:* SIA Licensed CCTV * Well developed IT skills.* Conflict management training* Auditing experience* Professional or further qualification in Security Management* MIM training* NEBOSH Certificate / IOSHHAbout The CompanyOCS UK & Ireland, part of the OCS Group, is a leading facilities management company providing a range of both standalone and integrated services including cleaning, catering, security, technical services, energy management and compliance, front of house, landscaping,logistics, waste management and pest control services.
