Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quality Team Leader for an internationally recognised Automotive Manufacturer based in the Washington AreaOur client assemble and supply Exterior Trims world-wide tot eh Automotive Industry.We are looking for a hard working individual with the passion to grow and succeed with our client. This is a permanent position.Shift Pattern:Candidates must be able to work the following shift pattern and be flexible to work overtime as and when required.06.30am-14.48pm15.45pm-00.03amSalary - £28,493.30 per annum with an appropriate shift premium of 12%As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the operations of an area within the Manufacturing function, supporting the Production Shift Supervisor with day-to-day management of their manufacturing area.Other duties will include but are not limited to:- Overseeing a group of operators- Providing leadership and line management to the team- Addressing any issues that arise in the course of the shift, timely escalation to the key stakeholders.- Ensuring targets are met- Strive towards Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)- Developing the team by focusing on individual performance- Ensure a high standard of qualitySkills and attributes:- Work independently, reviewed infrequesntly with minimal supervision.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills- Solid understanding of all people releated processes and procedures- Ensure health and safety is adhered to- Continuous improvement and safety mind-set- Personable and approachableIf this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV or call our office for further information -
