Job Description

Major Recruitment are currently recruiting for Quality Inspectors for an internationally recognised Automotive Manufacturer based in the Washington Area.Our client assemble and supply Exterior Trims world-wide to the Automotive Industry.We are looking for hardworking individuals with the passion to grow and succeed with our client. This position is long term, ongoing work for the right candidate.The Role:

  • Working as part of the quality team within production.
  • Working on the production line, carrying out 100% inspection of parts.
  • Assuring the quality of the products are acceptable prior to shipment.
  • Following the standard work and line requirements.
As part of the quality team within the business, with a strong quality culture, you will be expected to contribute towards the business goal of zero defects and customer satisfaction.The person:
  • Makes sound decisions
  • Decides in a timely manner
  • Confidently takes action based on decisions
  • Decides with conviction, does not second guess without very good information
  • Considers alternatives & potential consequences
Previous quality inspection experience is essential for this position.Shift Pattern:Candidates must be able to work the following shift pattern and be flexible to work overtime as and when required.06.30am-14.48pm15.45pm-00.03amSalary:Day Shift - £10.60Late Shift - £13.14(Pay increase after 12 weeks of service)Overtime paid at an additional rate, depending when worked.
