Job Description

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Manual Turner with Screw Cutting experience to support our client based in the Washington area who are currently going through continuous business growth.This is a Permanent Position, working Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 & Friday 08:00-14:00, Offering a Salary of £29,500- £32,000, Depending on Experience.Company Benefits:

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Set Up & Operate Manual Turning Machines
  • Manual Screw Cutting
  • Read from detailed engineering drawings to customer specifications
  • Report immediately to your Manager with any Health & Safety regulations which you think may be potentially breached.
  • Set a good example when supporting management and implementing change.
  • Provide any feedback with your views, ideas, improvements, and concerns to the Management Team.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experienced Engineer/Machinist with a proven track record in the relevant industry equipment with experience.
  • Experienced in Manual Turning.
  • Experience in Manual Boring (Horizontal) would be adventurous but not essential.
  • Experienced in Manual Screw Cutting.
  • The ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
  • Identifying and selecting correct tooling for the jobs.
  • Timely production of parts to pre-determined deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to tasks.
  • Be Ale to work Independently & as part of a Team.
  • Adhere to all QHSE practices.
