Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to work for a global engineering company as a Logistic Coordinator.In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day direction and daily activities for domestic and international shipping of products for both outbound and inbound requirements.Main duties and responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of the scheduling, monitoring and administration of outbound and inbound shipments
  • Develop, maintain and update the departments Import, Export Compliance Manuals and internal SOPs to ensure the procedures and processes contained in the documents are followed.
  • To take responsibility for record retention of all Import/Export documentation to ensure compliance with customs legislation.
  • To manage all modes of transportation to ensure the most efficient, cost effective and customer sensitive methods are utilised following established corporate Logistics systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy for all systems and documentation required for Import/Export compliance.
  • Ensure documentation systems comply with country specific legal and customs requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest Import/Export issues, regulations and laws.
  • To be responsible for conducting internal self- audits and facilitating external 3rd party audits to ensure the business remains in compliance as laws, regulations and international conditions change.
Requirements:
  • Professional logistic is preferable with strong experience in a warehouse/logistic environment
  • Import/Export and compliance understanding
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
