Job Description

We are currently seeking a Forklift Engineer to join our growing team. Located in Washington, Tyne and Wear, our company is committed to providing a personalized, efficient, and locally-focused service to all our customers.   • We welcome applications from various sectors, including Agricultural, Armed Forces (such as REME), Automotive, Construction Equipment, Materials Handling, HGV, LGV, Plant, Access Hire, or Roadside.
  • Professional experience with Heavy Plant or Diesel trucks is advantageous.
  • The role is field-based, emphasizing the importance of strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills are essential.
The Role:
  • As a Material Handling Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse range of Forklifts, Access, and other Material Handling Equipment.
  • The position is field-based, requiring basic tools and product knowledge.
  • Work closely with experienced engineers who are eager to share their knowledge and contribute to your skill development.
  • Company-provided Van, Phone, and Fuel Card.
  • Additional benefits include a Pension and 23 Days Holiday.
Schedule:
  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week
Licence/Certification:
  • A Full UK Driving License is essential for this role.
