Job Description

Ecommerce Manager, Tyne & WearSalary circa £45,000 depending on experience, comprehensive benefits package, flexible & hybrid working My client is a hugely successful and well established FMCG company who are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join their team. Theyve been through a period of change and as a result its a perfect time to join the organisation - its a newly formedrole and so a real chance for the successful candidate to make their mark.Reporting directly into the Sales Director, the Ecommerce manager will be responsible for reporting and growing core metrics across multiple websites. The ideal candidate will be an expert in all things Magento and be able to demonstrate a successful backgroundin driving ecommerce capability.Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Own the implementation process of website content change, offers, products.
  • Own the customer experience, visual brand identity, communications & messaging.
  • Own on site customer promotions.
  • Document and lead all onsite testing and implementation projects.
  • Merchandising and optimising category pages, site banners, product pages.
  • Management of marketplace-based storefronts and product feeds such as Amazon, eBay and others.
  • Maintaining weekly ecommerce and site trading reporting. Reporting back to senior management on improvement areas.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Criteria:
  • Magento experience or similar
  • Deep knowledge of project management on a site-by-site scale.
  • A complete can-do attitude and ability to self-motivate.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent team player with a collaborative approach to working.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and react to shifting priorities
  • The ability to be proactive & vocal in areas that can be improved or automated.
Salary circa £45,000 depending on experience, comprehensive benefits package, flexible & hybrid working
