Job Description

Job Title: Treasury AssistantJob description: We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and reputable organisation based in the Warwickshire area.Our client is looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their team on a six month fixed term contract; who will be responsible for safeguarding, completing monthly reconciliations and ensuring payments are processed effectively.This role will also require you to build and maintain relationships with the wider finance team and other areas of the business.Duration: Six month fixed term contractYou will be:

  • Downloading daily and monthly bank statements
  • Preparing and authorising payments (BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, ACH and faster payments)
  • Responsible for statement imports into the finance system and reconciliation of accounts
  • Managing company credit cards
  • Handling sterling and foreign petty cash for the Head Office and Distribution Centre
  • Assisting with cashflow actualising and forecasting, with reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively taking part in month end processes and reconciliations
  • Calculating and providing figures to external auditors
The ideal candidate will:
  • Possess excellent organisational skills and have high attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills (Vlookups and pivot tables)
  • Have experience working in a busy finance department
  • Be available at short notice
