Job Description

Job Title: Training Content ExecutiveContract: Temporary, Full timeWorking Model: Hybrid and in the Warwickshire officeRate: £12.82 - £14.36 Per Hour plus Holiday PayDuration: Early December until April 2024My client, who is a well-established membership organisation is currently recruiting for a Training Content Executiveto work on a temporary basis.Purpose of the Role:You will need to be a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join a small team whos willing to turn their hand to a variety of work in two main areas:

  • They need help with the organisation of their annual conference which takes place in April. Part of this will be managing communication with reviewers, presenters, delegates, exhibitors and their member volunteers. Youll also be creating engaging contentto attract delegates.
  • They need input into the development and update of content for online learning materials and for their website. So, you need to be creative with an eye for detail and to be able to understand their audiences and what they want from the organisation.
Main Responsibilities of the Training Content Executive:
  • Ensuring all relevant conference / event communications are timely, accurate and efficient to enable them to deliver a memorable event for all attendees.
  • Creating engaging online learning content for self-directed training and development, including videos and interactive modules.
  • Using educational technology and their Learning Management System to enhance content delivery and learner engagement.
  • Helping maintain their learning platform to ensure that the content is accessible, accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with relevant standards.
  • Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of content delivery to inform ongoing enhancement.
  • Assisting in sourcing and using new learning tools and technologies.
About you:NVQ Level 4 or above qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. English, Education, Educational Technology, Digital Technology, Multimedia, Instructional Design, Psychology or Communications) or proven experience of doing a similar job at an appropriatelevel.Essential knowledge & experience
  • A high level of computer skills and enthusiasm for learning new systems. Youll be a confident IT user with broad experience across the usual office platforms but will be keen to learn more.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Youll have a strong interest in digital content, be a confident writer and have skill in creating engaging visual communications.
  • Great organisational skills including time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines. They are a small team but they pride themselves on their high level of achievement and delivery.
  • Experience in developing learning materials or content for different user groups. They represent the human factors profession, advocating people-centred design, so understanding people and how they gather information and learn is key.
Desirable
  • Experience in supporting the design and delivery of online training sessions.
  • Good working knowledge of editing video software.
  • An understanding and knowledge of gamification, micro-learning and chatbots.
  • A working knowledge of instructional design theory.
