Service Manager £50,000 plus £5,000 Car allowance IT and phone provided (and PPE of course)Based out of Coventry Key Responsibilities Effectively manages all team members, including technicians and advisors, to ensure team objectives and maintenance goals are being carried out.Providing clear and concise instructions to engineering teams.Scheduling engineer time, ensuring efficiency and approving time sheets weekly.Displays extensive working knowledge of industry standards and practices, including product details and company services offered.Offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.Regular liaison with non-operational personnel.Develops working knowledge of industry regulations and restrictions and ensures service department adheres to all regulations meeting health and safety requirements and laws.Keeps up to date with new legislations and informs staff members of any changes regularly in conjunction with the H&S manager.Grows and maintains service department.Resolves service problems and improves current service methods to increase productivity and efficiencys, also making determinations for equipment, staff and training needs.Previous ExperiencePrevious service experience within Quarrying industry.Comprehensive industry experience, with thorough knowledge of maintenance and operation of heavy plant & machinery.Management experience.Core SkillsEffective troubleshooting and creative problem-solving ability.Competent in managing staff and service.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong customer-facing skills.Self-motivated.Fort more information on this role, contact Cory Elliott onPlease note that no terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate on the grounds of a persons gender, marital status, race, religion, colour, age, disability or sexual orientation.
