Senior Analytics & Insight Consultant (in-house)

Job Description

The Senior Analytics & Insight Consultant (in-house) is required to focus on customer centric data analysis and produce statistical led insight designed to improve the organisations day-to-day business decisions and future business plans, whilst providingmeaningful outputs to drive improvements in business performance.The position requires excellent analytical capability but also the ability to interpret human sentiment, motivation, and opinion orientated data to support longer term customer strategy.You will champion the use of advanced analysis (including sentiment analysis, propensity & segmentation modelling) and data visualisation within the business, having the autonomy to explore and discover new and varied datasets that will provide a fresh perspectivearound decision making.The position has a Warwickshire base, operating as hybrid (c2 onsite days per week, with flexibility).Responsibilities

• Lead on insight delivery through operational, web and sentiment analysis
• Build and develop data sets for to support specific business decision making across the organisations customer, supplier and stakeholder portfolios
• Act as subject matter expert on data led behavioural & sentiment analytics and best practice insight production
• Work with data analysts across other teams to understand and unlock insight to identify opportunities
• Create and communicate effective ways to track the performance of customer and stakeholder segments
• Support insight delivery through the effective use of data visualisation tool Power BI
• Continuously look for opportunities to optimise and enhance customer & stakeholder data.
• Ensure data selections are fit for purpose and adhere to GDPR compliance
• Provide front line users analytical insight, engaging with them regarding new business proposals and on-going projects

Skills

• Demonstratable numerical and analytics capabilities
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in analytical, marketing or business discipline
• Demonstrable experience delivering statistical & propensity modelling projects within a commercial environment
• Proficient in sentiment analytics, segmentation modelling and experience analysing qualitative data
• Experienced applying exploratory and proactive analytics
• Excellent sense of business awareness and ability to interpret and make string relevant business recommendations
• Experience of providing a mix of strategic and tactical solutions to current business problems
• Experience utilising leading analytical tools, from: R, Python, SQL, Alteryx. SAS, SPSS
• Power BI skills
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, and a good team player

Remuneration

• Salary £48,000 - £55,000 dependent on capability
• Performance Based Bonus of up to 6% of your base salary
• 25 days annual leave (increasing with length of service) + eight statutory days
