Job Description

Security Risk Lead Security Risk Lead / Cyber Security Lead / Security Risk / Security Lead / Security Consultant / Cyber Risk / Security First / Cyber Security / Security Assessment / NIST / GRC / CAF / ISO / CISSP / CISM / £650-£750 Inside IR35 / 6 month contract / HybridroleOne of our leading clients is looking to recruit Third Party Security Risk Lead to join Cyber Security team for initial 6-month contract role.Location - Warwickshire / Remote - occasional visitsDuration - 6 months initial contract with extensionDay Rate - £650 - £750 per day Inside IR35Experience/role:Part of a larger Cyber Security team you will recruit and lead a team of specialists to work on all areas required to support the assessment of risk of suppliers of services to the organisation whether this being third or fourth parties.Key accountabilities:

  • A significant responsibility of this role will be to monitor compliance with defined standards against regulatory frameworks.
  • Implementation of a risk framework for the assessment of supplier risk
  • Maintaining a strong Target Operating Model for the assessment framework
  • Manage an outsourced boutique provider that is responsible for the performance of security assessments
  • Managing the portfolio of risk assessments to ensure that they are completed to time, cost, and quality
  • Formulating and creating the structure of a third-party supplier risk repository to store questionnaires, risk exposures, mitigating actions etc
  • Working with the assessment company to ensure that actions are followed-up on
  • Implement relevant policies, standards and procedures for your area of business
  • Formulating mechanisms for the ongoing view of threats
Experience required for this role:
  • 3+ years demonstrable experience in a cyber security environment (preferably with Operational Technology experience)
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of working in an assurance function for third parties
  • Demonstrable experience of cyber security frameworks including NIST, CAF, ISO27001
  • Demonstrable experience of ISA/IEC 62443
  • Experience of using GRC management tooling
  • Experience of working with a security assessment organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; both written and oral
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision, organising and prioritising a demanding workload for yourself and direct reports
