Salesforce Functional ConsultantUtilitiesPredominantly remote: Onsite in Warwick only when needed6 months+£700 per dayIn short: Salesforce Functional Consultant required to join a global utilities provider in being the main product owner and SME for Salesforce. Youll hold workshops, provide demonstrations and own backlogs. Any Production and Deploy experiencewould be nice-to-have.Were happy to receive profiles from mid-senior and lead level.In full:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business processes, gathering requirements, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions, and providingfunctional expertise to ensure successful delivery. As a Salesforce Functional Consultant, you will collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, developers, and administrators, to optimise Salesforce capabilities and drive business growth. Theideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce administration and business analysis capabilities.Key accountabilities:

• Conduct comprehensive discussions and workshops with stakeholders to understand their business needs and requirements. Translate these requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Utilise your deep understanding of Salesforce functionality to help with designing scalable and efficient solutions that align with business goals and best practices.
• Assist in data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
• Develop data models and data mapping documents to give key technical insights.
• Conduct user training sessions and create training materials to empower end-users to effectively leverage Salesforce features.
• Assist the quality assurance team in validating the functionality and integrity of Salesforce solutions. Identify and address any defects or issues that arise during testing.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, user guides, and process flow diagrams. Generate reports and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business users, to ensure successful platform delivery. Effectively communicate platform progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and delivery teams.

Knowledge and experience:

• Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of successfully managing Salesforce projects and driving user adoption.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable solutions.
• A strong commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with Salesforce platform updates and enhancements.
