Sales Operations Manager Location: Coleshill, Birmingham (Head Office) Salary: Competitive Base Salary + Company Bonus Scheme + Benefits (25 days holiday, Pension, life Assurance)The Sales Operations Manager (SOM) is responsible for providing support to ensure the delivery of significant, profitable, consistent revenue growth across Direct, Channel and Insurance sales. The individual will need to be tenacious, ensuring that the sales process works from start to finish, with the ability to identify potential bottlenecks or issues that may reduce efficiency. The role holder will be required to liaise with all elements of the business to ensure that the sales function is successful.The role holder will report to the Group Sales and Marketing Director on a daily basis to ensure accurate and consistent sales reporting and forecasting, be responsible for sales induction, product training and ongoing product assessment, sales training and, in part, sales recruitment. Additionally the individual will act as a focal point for and coordinate tender responses.The SOM will liaise will all Business Unit Directors to produce weekly pipeline and forecast updates and monitor their performance against KPIs, The role holder will need to assist the Group Sales and Marketing Director with regular sales performance reviews, weekly sales and lead allocation per territory and per sales specialist.Although the SOM will not be involved directly in field sales activity, they are responsible for ensuring that the sales process is understood for all opportunities in the pipeline, production of forecasts and providing support to team members as required.The SOM will work with the BUDs and GSM Director to develop a sales behaviours and competency framework against which sales personnel can be developed and performance monitored.The Role:
