Job Description

Do you have Project Management experience, and are you seeking a new full-time job in the UK Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a company in the passenger vehicleindustry find a Project Manager for the design and build of transportation solutions. Interimand Permanent positions are available.As a Project Manager, you will manage the delivery of projects fordesign and build of whole vehicle and carriage projects, from initial order through to final delivery, installation, and commissioning. You will also manage the project-specific procurementin engineering and production.During your first few weeks in this Project Manager role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

  • Manage engineering, production, procurement, and installation deadlines
  • Technical monitoring and supervision of project progress, including installation and commissioning
  • Procurement and cost control for materials and services
  • Development of quality plans
  • Monitoring of conformity with quality standards, in-house and with suppliers
To apply for this Project Management position, you will need an engineering degree, preferably electrical or mechanical, along with real-world engineering in your DNA. You will also need:
  • Passion for engineering with demonstrable practical experience
  • Evidence, either professionally or personally, of restoring cars/tractors/motorbikes
  • Good technical understanding of vehicles, particularly electric cars and/or trains
  • Demonstrable ability to work on multiple parallel projects
  • Full driving licence and flexibility regarding working hours, deadlines, and travelling
