Job Description

Permanent position for a Payroll Team Leader to join a leading Manufacturing and Production organisation based in Warwickshire. Supporting day to day management of the team and ensuring effective delivery of payroll for all employees.Client DetailsMy client is a incredibly successful Manufacturing and Production organisation based in Warwickshire. The company are growing organically and require a Payroll Team Leader to provide some supervisory support and specialist knowledge/guidance to a hardworking dedicated team.DescriptionThe Payroll Team Leader role in Warwickshire will include:

  • Leading a team of 4 Payroll Administration staff with overall responsibility for the delivery of various monthly and weekly payrolls
  • Ensuring all payrolls are ran smoothly and accurately and delivered on time for the employees
  • Managing relevant KPIs and dealing with escalated enquiries from staff and or HMRC
  • Providing support, training and guidance to staff on all legislative issues
  • Liaise with line managers on all aspects of payroll
  • Support the business in process and procedural development and in improving efficiency within team
  • Leading on aspects of system improvement and working with staff, management and project team to deliver a best in class payroll delivery service
  • Troubleshooting system problems, using expert payroll knowledge to carry out payroll calculations manually
    • ProfileTo be successful in this Payroll Team Leader position you will have thorough specialist knowledge on all legislative payroll requirements, have exposure to the management and delivery of various Payroll tenures and be able to demonstrate effective management of team members. Exposure within system or process improvements will be a distinct advantage but not essential whereas a positive, proactive and problem solving attitude will be.
