Job Description

Alexander Daniels have been exclusivley retained by a well know household name to recruit for a Payroll Maanger.You will be a self motivated payroll manager with good leadership skills. This is a newly created role due to continued growth and success.This is a challenging, varied role which will require a hands-on approach. Reporting into the Head of Payroll, you will be responsible for the development of the payroll team which will involve building and maintaining good relationships. You will be ableto work to multiple deadlines, have a keen eye for detail, to ensure an accurate payroll service.Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of 4 payroll executives
  • Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries
  • Manage the processing and running of the monthly payroll
  • Cover the Head of Payrolls duties in their absence
  • Produce and develop monthly and adhoc payroll reports
  • Review and update payroll policies and procedures
Essential Experience/Skills
  • CIPP qualified
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Previous supervisory or management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll legislation
  • Ability to complete Tax and NI manual calculations
  • Proven experience of problem solving and dealing with complex queries
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload to ensure strict deadlines are met
  • Strong IT skills
  • Strong communication skills
