Master Data Specialist - Inventory & Supply Chain (SAP Implementation)Location: Remote working with meetings in Warwickshire and across the UK (must be able to attend essential meetings)Salary: £60-70,000 + great benefitsContract: 18 month FTCOur Client is undertaking a global, company wide SAP implementation and is looking for additional talent to join the Master Data team.The SAP Project team at are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Inventory, Supply Chain and Master Data Specialist.Role will be to support the implementation of SAP and the processes covered by the Demand to Stock Domain, with particular emphasis on Inventory processes and Master Data. Working with the Data Team to build a BI tool, reviewing and approving functionalspecifications for SAP build phase and specifically considering interfaces.Reviewing test scripts for SIT ensuring all processes are covered and preparing for UAT by liaising with Central, Central Domain and BAU teams.Participating in Change Management and Role Mapping exercises to ensure they are fit to operate the new ERP system.The role:Review functional specifications for the SAP Build PhaseSupport and own key Business Readiness activitiesEnsure best practice for Inventory Management is ingrained in the to-be business processesBe an advocate for change by taking a hands-on approach to learning and testing new systems and sharing knowledge with usersHelp to develop a Master Data Management strategy particularly considering working cross-domainEnsure delivery of all data requirements for build and testing of systemsGet to know the to-be processes "inside-out" and relate these to our as-is processes to aid role mapping and Change Management activitiesBuild, manage and maintain relationships with BAU, GB, FR and Central TeamsThe person:Bachelors / Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar subjectProven expertise in a similar positionProven record of understanding and implementing Inventory Management proceduresUnderstanding of Master Data Management - materials, production, enterprise structureExpertise using ERP systems (SAP and JDE preferred)Strong computer literacy skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data setsCompetency with Microsoft Office suite; particular emphasis on Visio & ExcelDemonstrated ability to utilise project management software (eg. MS Project or Workfront)Proven record of delivering change projects on a large scaleDemonstrated ability to problem solve and make key business decisions autonomously with minimum supervisionPassionately curious with a drive for continuous improvementA desire to seek out business improvement opportunitiesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to be able to work with people at all levelsAbility to source information when and where needed from a wide variety of sourcesLean Six Sigma QualificationRelevant professional certification, i.e. APICS CPIMWe look for people who are open minded, embrace new ways of working, step out of their comfort zone seek out new opportunities and look to continuously learn.To apply please email your CV
