Job Description

Marketing Research & Insight Executive - Hybrid WorkingWe are working exclusively with an industry leading client on the lookout for a Marketing Research & Insight Executive to join their Marketing team at their head offices in Warwickshire.The successful candidate will be a vital support to the Research & Insight Manager and wider marketing team, helping to generate meaningful insight across a wide range of stakeholders. Customer insight will be key to helping our client modernise, transformand transition, allowing them to continue providing a fit for purpose service in the future. This role will be supporting on gathering insights from a range of audiences including domestic consumers, businesses and their retail network. The remit covers awide variety of research projects: from continuous global brand health and NPS studies to customer satisfaction and ad-hoc studies, qualitative and quantitative research projects, across a range of methodologies.Key responsibilities:

  • Project management including setting up new jobs, liaising with partners, stakeholder management and attending key meetings
  • Draft small proposals or parts of larger proposals
  • Develop an understanding of the entire research and insight process, building a network of contacts within a range of partners to enable easy identification of the right partner for the right study
  • Learn and understand the procurement process for research studies
  • Develop and maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of the tools and techniques of market research, keep up to date with the innovations and enhancements to ensure they continue to deliver the highest quality insight
  • Manage the quantitative and qualitative market research project lifecycle from proposal to final stakeholder debrief
  • Day-to-day management of research studies including writing questionnaires, checking data tables, charting, note taking and undertaking internal online surveys when needed
  • Identify needs, design and deliver solutions to the business with credibility and impact
  • Be an agency tools champion, identifying use cases for tools, answering queries and organising training where necessary
  • Data analysis, taking a story led approach when it comes to presenting research results to maximise engagement and outputs
As such we would like you to have/be:
  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject (research or another suitable analytical discipline would be advantageous)
  • Clear aptitude for analytical work
  • Some experience of carrying out primary and secondary research in B2B and B2C markets
  • Some knowledge and experience of research studies (qual/quant) and different methodologies
  • Ability to write surveys in Survey Monkey/Qualtrics or similar survey software
  • Experience in drafting briefs, capturing detailed requirements
  • Highly organised and structured approach, with strong project and time management skills, setting and maintaining priorities to meet deadlines
  • Proactive, positive person who works well collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders/departments
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to support debriefs with meaningful and actionable insights
  • Tenacity in following up insights provided to stakeholders, understanding actions and changes that have been implemented as a result
