Job Description

My client, a market leading international retail business based in North Warwickshire, is looking to recruit a Market and Customer Research Analyst.This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and shape the market, customer and competitor research strategy.The Market and Customer Research Analyst role will encompass:

  • Market / competitor research
  • Commercial analysis feeding into the Strategy team to utilise for specific business cases
  • Conduct market trends n
  • Conduct competitor investment, launch and organisation research (incl. relevant commercial data modelling)
  • Provide constant monitoring and analysis of commercial data
  • Work with Customer Insight IOU on 3rdparty data (e.g. from Kantar, Nielsen, GfK)
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/expertise:
  • Deep technical expertise in commercial analysis
  • Deep technical expertise in conducting market trend analysis. Horizon scanning, proposition prioritisation
  • Working in team environments - being a team player
  • Able to provide simple clarity on large volumes of facts and figures
  • Excellent presentation materials development skills
  • Experience in and comfort with working in fast-paced environments
