Our Global Manufacturing client has just requested a Lab Technician to join them for a 12 month (min) contract at their site based in Warwickshire.The successful candidate will be working in the R&D lab. You will be responsible for spraying automotive panels as well as testing abrasives with robotic spray guns and robotic arms. You will also be responsible for cutting samples using plated metal cutting templates. Due to the paints being used, the successful candidate will be needing to wear a ventilation mask for approximately 6-7 hours per dayYou must have basic IT experience, especially Excel, as you will need to work with spreadsheets and know your way around them. You also need to be competent with file storage so that testing reports are not lost.The output of this department underpins a lot of decisions made for multi-million pound contracts.
