Job Description

IT Resource Planning Specialist

  • Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 plus 17.5% bonus dependant on experience
  • Location - Warwickshire
  • Job Type - Two years Fixed Term Contract
The Role:A 2-year fixed contract opportunity for an IT Resource Planning Specialist to join an IT Demand Planning team.
  • You will be managing the monthly time sheeting process, to ensure that timesheets are completed by the deadline, to the correct codes with all associated reporting carried out in a timely manner. Additionally, you will support the wider resourcing functionby providing analysis of resource assignments, cost and profile analysis of external resource, dashboard reports as well as dealing with third party resource providers.
  • Plan, monitor and oversee the reporting of current and upcoming IT headcount and IT resource assignments (timesheets) and allocation, evaluating actual resource utilisation, cost variances and risks.
  • Pro-actively engage with work requestors, challenge, advise and support internal business and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the process for the approval of IT estimates to ensure that they are accurate, issued against documented requirements, tolerances applied, risks stated and approved by the IT management team.
  • Work with hiring managers to identify and onboard external resources, to ensure compliance against policies and procedures, ensuring best value and quality.
  • Further develop and carry out skills modelling across IT, identifying trends, gaps and development opportunities.
Key Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience of managing and monitoring processes, and service standards.
  • Excellent and effective organisational, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Experience of working with projects and programmes or IT change.
  • IT literate with excellent MS Office skills, Excel Pivot Tables & Data manipulation experience.
  • Great organisational skills regarding data management.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework awareness.
